‘Glass Shards’ is pt. I of a film trilogy made with filmmaker Greg Barnes. The trilogy ‘Lonely City’ encompasses three improvised live performances across three soundworld layers of the city (a rooftop, an underground tunnel and in-transit at street level in a moving car ) all embedding the sounds of the city into the film. Glass Shards was performed live on a rooftop, the following morning Laura woke up and improvised the saxophones.
