‘Night Drive’ is pt.3 of a film trilogy made with filmmaker Greg Barnes. The trilogy ‘Lonely City’ encompasses three improvised live performances across three soundworld layers of the city (a rooftop, an underground tunnel and in-transit at street level in a moving car ) all embedding the sounds of the city into the film. The vocals were recorded across various night drives and have been collaged together ∞ the saxophone and other instrumentation was recorded on a rooftop.
