Cornershop were formed in 1991 by Tjinder Singh, Avtar Singh, David Chambers & Ben Ayres. The name Cornershop originated from stereotype referring to British Asians often owning corner shops.
‘Lessons Learned from Rocky I to Rocky III’ was released in 2002 on Wiiija Records. It is taken from Cornershop’s ‘Handcream for a Generation’ album which featured Noel Gallagher playing guitar. “Handcream for a Generation” was their final album for Wiiija Records.
