Louis Carnell returns with his first new music since 2024’s 111 series.
emblem, fear obtains laced dreams is a deeply personal work, weaving Carnell’s voice in several forms: delicate spoken word, resonant vocal layers, and reverberating choral textures that build with power and emotion.

Written in the wake of his mother’s passing, the piece explores solitude, memory, and the search for resolve. As an only child without immediate family, Carnell found himself returning to the past, reconsidering what it truly means to be alone, and choosing to express this through a single element: his voice.

Alongside the release, Carnell will host several live “in hope we must reside” events , combining live performance with his own photography, collaborative artwork with REMEMBER YOU WERE MADE TO BE USED, and a jewellery collection designed with Phi Symbol.

The accompanying imagery was inspired by a white pigeon encountered the day he learned of his grandmother’s passing , parking a photographic series of Pigeon Angels, reflections of spiritual embodiment and continuity.
