3-years ago, Asthmatic Kitty Records released ‘Reflections’ composed by @SufjanStevensOfficial and performed by Timo Andres & Conor Hanick.
The work was originally commissioned for ballet by Houston Ballet, choreographed by Justin Peck and premiered in 2019. ‘Reflections’ was written for two pianos and eleven dancers.
The studio recording of “Reflections” can be streamed in all the usual places, including here on YouTube with visuals by Jessica Slaven and animations by Stephen Halker. A limited aquamarine LP of the recording is available via AKR’s shop.
