“Sunrays” metaphorically stands for the relief provided once you’ve gone through a hardship/accomplished something you’ve been looking forward to. The song was inspired by my anxiety. It usually comes in waves for me, and when it’s on a high it feels really hard to cope with, and once it finally reaches a low again I get that slight feeling of relief that “Sunrays” is about. – AK
