“This is a song that was born in the midst of the pandemic. At the time, Dani was living in the United States, and it also coincided with the killing of George Floyd. Those turbulent months led him to reflect deeply on the unacceptable and excessive control that those in power exert over society. ‘I wish the day would come when we could all rise up against such submission,’ he thought. The freedom we are sold is an illusion. Life itself is a ‘Liberticide.'”
