Hi, Marta Z here. Such a beautiful evening outside and it’s my mom’s birthday, so I had an impromptu idea to surprise my neighbors with a balcony concert during the quarantine and to gift the video to my mom, since I couldn’t travel to see her. This is my electric violin take of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.
(And yes, so many of you comment on my feet…My feet are fine. We have pollution here. Since it was a spur of a moment idea and I rushed to set up all my equipment before the sunset, I didn’t know the balcony had so much soot on it, therefore my feet got dirty from playing barefoot for half an hour – again, courtesy of LA pollution setting on my balcony. Subscribe for more of my later balcony concerts with maybe some cleaner feet 😉 lol
The video I posted for my mom went viral on FB. My amazing neighbors loved it and asked for more, so I continued to perform and streamed the concerts for several months.
