Our next submission spotlight for the Carrie & Lowell Mixed Media Art / Covers Contest takes us to Anloo, located in the Netherlands.
@jmcvinnie, @wearevillagers and @maaikevanderlinde were recording an album inside the Magnus Church (dates back to 1100!) on an icy cold day.
@maaikevanderlinde shares “Beside recording New Music and Old Psalms we also wanted to cover a song that all three of us loved. “The 4th of July” from ‘Carrie & Lowell ‘was a song that deeply moved us and it was exciting to arrange it for church organ, bass flute, guitar and vocals.”
The Carrie & Lowell Mixed Media Art / Covers Contest runs through July 24th, so there is still plenty of time to get your submissions in for a chance to be spotlighted on AKR socials and to win a $50 credit to the AKR store.
